This exhibit showcases the technical skill and talent behind The
Department of Natural Resource’s (DNR) hunting and fishing stamps. The
Indiana DNR stamp program began in 1976 to raise funds to preserve
Indiana fish and wildlife and manage certain resident and migratory
species. Each stamp design originated as a painting or drawing of a
designated species chosen through the annual DNR Stamp Contest. This
exhibit marks the first time the entire collection of stamps has been
shown together and the first time the Indiana artwork has been
displayed together in a fine art exhibit. Presented with support from
the Arts Council of Indianapolis and the City of Indianapolis.
