Detail:: The Artist of Distinction Award, presented by a member of the Western Art Society, was begun in 2007. One Quest for the West artist will be chosen each year to receive this award.

In 2007, Daniel Smith was selected to receive this award, a one-person exhibit in the Eiteljorg Museum’s Paul Gallery. This fall exhibition will feature a selection of work reflecting Smith’s career.
